Profile
Steve Ramsey, CPA, MBA is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Texas Association of Business Brokers (www.tabb.org). He began his accounting career in 1982 and has extensive experience in taxation, accounting, financial consulting, and packaging businesses to maximize their sales price. He has negotiated the sale or purchase of numerous businesses and has performed business advisory services for businesses across the United States.
He has taught business and accounting classes at Austin College in Sherman, Texas since 1989 and started the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) chapter there. He has also taught numerous seminars for the Small Business Administration (SBA). His personal experience includes construction, mechanical & architectural drafting, banking, and manufacturing.
Mr. Ramsey is very active in the community and serves on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations as well as an advisor to others.
Renata Ramsey is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and an authorized QuickBooks Advisor. She began her accounting career with a CPA firm in 1986 and has been in public accounting ever since. She has extensive experience in Electronic Filing, QuickBooks consulting, payroll and sales taxes, and individual income taxes.
Matt Hanley has recently joined our team. Matt has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Austin College and will soon take the CPA exam. His background is in management. His experience includes small family owned operations as well as working with one of the largest companies in America. For the large, national company, Matt was a branch manager with sole responsibility for operations and human resource management. He left that job to further his studies and pursue a career in accounting.
